Woohoo, I am so happy I can enter this challenge at the lovely and oh so generous Linda L’s blog! I did this piece a few weeks ago after I saw a tag done by the Man himself for the Ranger blog. I absolutely loved this tag he did but changes things up a bit, after all, I didn’t want to copy what Tim did, but I did want to make it my own! I used the technique I shall encourage you to go to Linda’s blog to discover!!

This is a bad pic but I wanted to get it up, impatient person I am!!! I’ll get a better shot later today and post it! I have also added 3 jingle bells in the empty spot on the bottom of the cage.
This turned out fabulous! I was going to use the birdcage, but in looking for that die, came across my Eifel tower die that I had never used before, so went with that.
Beautiful, I love the snow on top of the cage and the greenery along the side and the beads at the bottom and …..
Wonderful tag! I had rusted up a cage too but didn’t use it. I love the quote you used.
Your tag looks great! love that birdcage die.
Wow its terrific. Annette x
The rusty cage is perfect for the rusty grunge technique. I love the added snow and beads on the cage! Fabulous tag!
Great job on the tag! And your rusted bird cage with snow looks perfect!

Mary-Beth, this is so, SO beautiful! You’ve definitely made this design your own, and your rusted grunge birdcage is wonderful. I love the quote, too– I’ve never heard that before, and it’s so sweet. Awesome art, my dear!
M-B where is that quote from, can I use it?
