I belong to another Yahoo group, we_love_digital_art, that has challenges for us to take pat in. One I did was making a name tag for signatures. This is what I came up with. I’m still struggling with getting perfect outlines when I try for transparent backgrounds. gonna have to learn how to use masks!
Another challenge was for using celtic images but I misread, tired as I am, and I was to use images from the photo albums on the group. This however is what I came up with. I used an image from www.aon-celtic.com who has a ton of gorgeous freeware to use!
Don’t know if you can tell but I am very proud of my Irish heritage!

these are lovely M-B, you know that problem is the same for everyone, don’t feel alone! I think there is something in Photoshop about “feathering” and that lets you get your selection more fuzzy on the edge so it doesn’t look like a cutout.

these are gorgeous! I especially love the celtic cross (we have one on my Dad’s headstone)…I embrace my celtic (Irish/Scottish) ancestors!
